VCARE Academy is the world's first knowledge body, established with its primary focus on the value chain with its headquarters in Toronto, Canada. VCARE standards for Value Chain Applications, Research, and Education
In the last 30 years, several supply chain certification bodies have offered supply chain education. But most of the training focused more on theory and less on real-world use. These certification programs enhance the thought process of professionals, but many struggles to use them in real-life situations. After years of research, VCARE Academy is stepping up to bridge this gap.
VCARE Academy offers a diverse portfolio of education programs, including three certification programs—Certified Supply Chain Leader (CSCL), Certified Stores and Stock Controller (CSSC), and Certified Production and Inventory Analyst (CPIA)—as well as four mini-master classes covering essential topics such as supply chain strategy, 3PL logistics strategy, sustainability, and circularity.
VCARE Academy's Education and Research Executive Board (EREB) and Education and Research Practitioners Board (ERPB) play strategic roles in shaping the institution's approach to supply chain education and research. Chaired by Dr. Robert B. Pojasek, a renowned sustainability scientist and seasoned educator with 34 years of teaching experience at the world's top universities, including Harvard and Tufts. He has trained over 80,000 professionals and assisted over 450 organizations in 24 countries around the world.
"We believe that the modern supply chain requires a new approach—one that prioritizes hands-on learning and real-world application," says Dr. Pojasek. "Through our certification programs, mini master and master classes, and dynamic learning resources, VCARE Academy is empowering professionals to drive innovation and excellence throughout the value chain."
The modern supply chain must evolve to meet new global and local challenges. ERPB and EREB are regional leaders who contribute by suggesting ways to meet international and local complexities throughout the supply chain network.
VCARE Academy value chain focused certification programs teach both the "what" and the "how" of supply chain operations, providing professionals with the 100% practical knowledge needed to be successful. This means no matter your industry—garment manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, IT, or beyond—you'll gain the skills and knowledge to manage and solve real-world challenges and make a positive impact on their supply chain.
VCARE Academy pioneers the Supply Chain Knowledge Evaluation Assessment (SCKEA), a dynamic tool that assesses and improves the strategic decision-making skills of supply chain professionals. In line with its commitment to capacity development, VCARE Academy also offers a range of free learning resources, including articles, podcasts, and white papers, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.
