PROCTORED EXAMINATION

​​Delegates may opt to write the exam at the completion of the program in the presence of the knowledge partner conducting the program or alternatively write a proctored exam at a future date via VCARE Academy.

On completion of the learning program delegates have two options available to them when attempting the final assessment.

BEFORE THE EXAM

  1. Arrive for the exam at least one hour before the scheduled start time. Dress appropriately for the occasion.

  2. Bring your ID, and a copy of your ID to be handed in when you arrive at the exam venue.

  3. On arrival sign the register to signify your attendance at the exam centre.

  4. DO NOT have any materials with you other than a calculator and pencil. You will be provided with scrap paper on which you may make notes during the exam.

DURING THE EXAM

  1. Read the questions carefully, selecting the best answer. If you wish to change your answer at any time during the exam you may do so.

  2. Personal needs breaks are permitted during the exam, but the clock will continue running.

  3. You are not permitted to copy any exam questions onto your scrap paper.

AFTER THE EXAM

  1. When you have completed the exam the result will be displayed on the computer.

  2. Collect your belongings, hand in any scrap paper that you have used and quietly leave the exam venue.

  3. Confirmation of your results will be sent to you within 48 hours after the exam.

ONLINE PROCTORED

i-PROCTORED EXAM

  • Note: Delegates may choose to write the exam on the schedule exam day or within 60 days of the end of the course on-line at their place of residence or employment.

  • You will receive an email outlining the information you will need for taking the exam, 3 to 7 days immediately prior to the exam date.

  • On receipt of the email, scan and send a copy of your ID to VCARE no later than 12 hours before the scheduled exam date and time.

  • 30 Mins before the exam start date go to the GoogleMeet and open the link

  • Make sure that there are no other programs open on the computer.

  • When given the password enter the password into the computer and take the exam.

  • When you have completed the exam the result will be displayed on the computer.

  • Confirmation of your results will be sent to you within 48 hours after the exam.
